Lutheran Hills Camp and Conference Center

We are delighted to return to the wonderful venue Lutheran Hills Camp & Retreat Center near Morgantown, Indiana.

We believe you will throughly enjoy summer camp and retreat center located 15 miles northwest of Bloomington IN in Brown County. The 735-acre property has a summer camp area with a main lodge facility, 8 youth cabins, outdoor chapel, campfire circle, recreation stadium, swimming pool, 17-acre lake, and 7-miles of hiking trails.

Lutheran Hills offers three types of lodging for Family HEART Campers.  NOTE: You will need to bring bedding for the shared Cabins and Tent Camping.

  • Cottage / Lodge: Indoor accommodations featuring air conditioned private rooms; pillows and linens are provided by the campground..
  • Shared Cabin: Indoor accommodations featuring bunkbeds in a shared, air-conditioned space; you bring all of your own bedding (linens and blankets or sleeping bags, pillows). Each cabin sleeps up to 13 people, so smaller families will likely be asked to share a room. Depending on size and availability, larger families may be able to have an entire cabin to themselves. The bathrooms and shower facility are a short or moderate walking distance away, depending on the location of the cabin.
  • Tent Camping: Five electrical hook-ups are provided in the campground. There are ample primitive camping sites available around the lake and campers have access to a bathhouse with toilets and showers. Tent campers are responsible for providing all of their own camping equipment.

All meals are provided by the venue and feature wholesome, healthy choices with many organic ingredients and grass-fed meat offerings.
