Joseph has been a hair designer, practically right out of the womb!
He started with him Mom’s gorgeous Auburn hair at 5 years old, and then moved on to his sisters! By the age of 12, he had a clientele sitting around the farm table in Northern Wisconsin coifing all of his Mom’s friends!
In High School he gave classes about hair, and then in 1971 he graduated from Pivot Point Design School. Joseph continued on to get advance training in both Chicago and Atlanta, which lead him to opening his first of four salons in 1973. In 1984 he sold everything and moved to Los Angeles!! His first interview was here in Brentwood, and he is proud to have been here in this fabulous area for 35 years!
He was trained in “High Style”… some may say the “Old School” way. He is known for Chic and Classy looks, colors, and cuts to bring out the very best in each client!
Cara is a native of Los Angeles, a hairdresser for over 30 years and raised on the Southern California beaches full of beautiful blonds. She mastered the recreation of those natural sun kissed looks, creating that same look for you without you having to spend time in the sun.
Highlights, Balayage, Ombré and Color Correction are her specialty services. She loves the joy these services bring to her clients.
She is also a curly hair specialist, being a curly girl herself, she has mastered the curly cut and style as well as a variety of smoothing treatments should you want to tame the curls down.

Michael has been doing hair on the Westside for over 30 years, and the last 15yrs here at Studio 210. He has experience in color and cuts for both men and women, but his true passion is hair cutting. He chose years ago to specialize and focus his training on the art of hair design. He prides himself in continuing his education by attending hair shows, classes, and seminars. He loves to keep up with the trends and learning all the newest techniques. He is also certified in Barbering and by Brazilian Blowout for smoothing treatments. Michael is a perfectionist, he takes his time to master each cut which is what keeps his clients coming back.
Growing up I always had a love hate relationship with my hair until one day I decided to stop fighting it and fully embrace my curly tresses. During the course of earning my BA in Gender Studies at UCLA, I emphasized my academic work on the the psychological effects the beauty industry combined with mass media have on women with curly hair like me. I developed a passion for helping men and women to love their curls. I decided to make it my personal goal to help diversify the beauty standard. My combined education through the Sassoon Academy with my years at Ouidad as a Curly Specialist provided me with the unique skill set joining strong technical and visual backgrounds to custom tailor both cut and color services to best suit the aesthetic and maintenance routine for each and every client. Beyond working behind the chair I’ve also had the pleasure of working on photo shoots as well as red carpet events. I aim to provide quality services in a welcoming environment for all of my curly clients!
A native of Spain and Italy, Antonio has called many places home, including Brazil, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles, and New York City. In addition, his frequent travels to visit diverse cultures and experience fashion all over the world continue to inform his style and expertise.
Antonio is a graduate of the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, California, where he studied esthetics and cosmetology. He was a national make-up artist for Lancome, and then worked with Sebastian International as a platform artist. With 20 years of experience – both as a stylist and educator – in hair and make-up, Antonio brings a strong portfolio to the salon.
He is a recognized specialist in curly hair and is a certified Deva Curlaborator for DevaConcepts. “My experience with curly hair has allowed me to surrender to an unconditional flow of information and feedback that happens naturally in my salon chair and in an educational forum. Didi Lody, owner of Studio 210 has been a part of the hair industry for over 20 years. She founded Studio 210 in 2004, the fulfillment of a life long desire to create a salon with an environment that encourages her stylists and staff maximum creative freedom to develop their talents. Also providing clients with an exceptional level of care and attention. Being so dedicated to her craft she has developed an impressive list of loyal and trusting clients.
She understands the need to listen and communicate with her clients to achieve results that best suit them and their lifestyle. Didi has worked in the film, photo and commercial worlds and loves keeping up with the current fashion and hair trends and believes in continued education. She offers full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, special event styling, keratin treatments, and hair extensions.
Selene D’Auteuil-Thompson has been styling hair since 1987. She formerly worked at Kenneth George Salon and ESP Salon in Santa Monica until 2004 when she joined the Studio 210 team. Selene has had extensive hands on training with the artistic teams of Toni and Guy,Paul Mitchell, Sonia and Christopher Dove ( Wella color ducators ) and Schwartzkof color. Selene believes that each client is unique and therefor listening and communicating is the key to achieving their desired results. Her love of creating beautiful hair keeps her up to date on the latest treads and applies that to her work. Selene specializes in color, highlights, cutting and perms.
Trish is an experienced hairdresser on the west-side for 24 years. Loving all aspects of the hair design profession, color, cutting and thermal straightening, she is able to bring her experience to any client and fulfill their needs. She specializes in Yuko Japanese Thermal Straightening and uses the Redken color lines.
Leslie England, a native of Southern California, attended UCLA and graduated from the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in 1981. She began her 30 year career at Carlton Hair International were she went on to become the Artistic Director. Her love for fashion and art translates into her execution of all her skills as an overall stylist, bringing out the true beauty of each of her clients. She specializes in highlights, artfully placing color in multiple shades creating stunning, natural, beautiful hair. As well as her love for blondes, she is also extremely skilled in special event styling, a complete wedding look including makeup, the much in demand Brazilian Blowout, and hair extensions to increase volume in fine hair or create a super sexy long look. Leslie has found her true calling as a hairdresser and feels a real sense of accomplishment and pride in providing outstanding professional service to her clients.
Lynn trained in England and has 35 years experience as a hairstylist. She has a very loyal clientele which is a testament to her skill and creativity in making her clients feel their best. She is a big believer in continuing education which she achieves through hair seminars and has attended numerous different Academies, Peter Collinge, Tony & Guy, Redken, and L’Oréal to name a few.
Lynn specializes in all hair services for men and women- with an emphasis on highlighting, balayage, and Japanese Straightening.
Terra Andersen is a national stylist commuting between Brentwood, and the Bay Area since 1998. She was trained in Aveda, studying at the New York & London Academies. She also is well versed in Redken color lines and uses a variety of products, depending on the needs of each individual client. She prides herself in keeping current in the latest trends for both men and women. She is a curly hair specialist, but has experience with all hair types. Her other specialties include balayage, highlights, corrective color, men’s scissor cuts and a great blow out-even on the most difficult hair. She is also certified to do extensions, and chemical straightening services-such as Brazilian Blowout and Keratin Coppola. Clients love Terra- not only because of her hair styling skills, but also because she is professional, knowledgeable, and they love her schedule! Terra has hours ranging from 9am to 9pm depending on the day of the week, which helps to accommodate everyone’s schedule!
Julie has been cutting, coloring and styling men and women’s hair in Brentwood since 1985. She is professional, punctual, keeps up with the current fashion trends and has a loyal clientele that believes in her abilities.
Grace Leider is a dynamic hairstylist who is dedicated to creating soft, beautiful and natural color, cuts and styles for her clients. Her color and cuts grow in beautifully. She has worked in Santa Monica and Brentwood for 18 years and is now bringing her beachy style to her native South Pasadena. Grace also works in the television industry and has been nominated for two Emmys. You can see her work on the CBS hit “How I Met Your Mother” where she was the head hairstylist in charge of working with the main cast and designing the look of the show.
Lisa Reveen got her start working at Palomar pictures doing hair and makeup for TV and Movies. She then went on to work in top salons, such as Kenneth George, ESP and has been with Studio 210 since 2004. Lisa has trained with Tony and Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Sebastian, Wella, and Redken. Lisa graduated from the Redken Color Academy, and taught color as a Redken Color Specialist. Lisa specializes in Color Correction, and Long Hair.
Ever Duran received his training in cosmetology at Santa Monica College and has more than 30 years experience right here in Brentwood. Ever specializes in hair coloring, styling and the latest Brazilian Blowout hair relaxer. Evers friendly, professional personality is one of the reasons he has many clients that have been with him since the beginning of his career.
Christina Niven, a Santa Monica native, has been in the business for over 30 years. Her career began at the famed Bruno and Soonie of Beverly Hills. There, she received
cutting-edge training, continued education from Vidal Sasoon and developed a sense of artistry and creativity that make her the talented and vibrant stylist she is today.
Christina made the move the Studio 210 over 16 years ago, but has kept the same, loyal clientele for 30 years. This alone is a testimonial to her skill, creativity and passion for excellence. Her specialty is transforming clients with a natural, flattering look for without creating styles that are dated. She formulates natural colors that are both flattering and make the client look like they were blessed with the perfect color. Her color is exquisite, but it goes without saying that any good color can be destroyed by a bad cut. Staying true to her natural roots – her styles are just as flattering and truly compliment her coloring skills.
